Peter Saville

Visual design inspired by the work of Peter Saville. Created a new iteration of his color code blocks with updated colors. Designed custom dieline for a 7” single sleeve.
Peter Saville's now famous "color code" first appeared on the cover of Blue Monday by New Order in 1983, originally thought to be a visual element and nothing more. After Power, Corruption & Lies was released a few months later with a similar block of colors on the cover, people realized it said something. Here, his color code is used to spell out details of the artist's life for a T-shirt graphic.
